Being on the Fotia Chapel staff is a fantastic way to serve the TPS Community, meet new people, and grow in Jesus. We have positions available in writing, photography, art, prayer, music, and more! For all staff, chapel attendance is mandatory, and you may request absences if you provide a valid reason for not attending. Click the orange button below to apply! For each of application, we will consider both quality of work and spiritual maturity.
Photographers and Artists
Calling all creatives! As a part of our team, you will submit one piece of artwork per month. Your pieces of art will be posted publicly on our website alongside our devotionals. We accept most forms of art. Applicants for this position must submit two art samples.
Devotional Editor
As editor, you will write devotionals, send out reminders to the other writers for their devotionals, and edit them for grammar and syntax errors. You must have a strong understanding and mastery of grammar conventions and writing style. Applicants for this position must be in highschool and must submit two writing samples – one from school and one personal.
Devotional Writers
Do you love writing and encouraging others with God’s word? Our writers submit about one devotional every 1-2 months. You must have a strong understanding and mastery of grammar conventions and writing style. Applicants for this positiomust submit two writing samples – one from school and one personal.
Musicians
Are you musically inclined? Our musicians contribute to Fotia by submitting one to two pieces of music per month that students can enjoy while they wait for chapel, instrumental or with God-glorifying lyrics. While they do not need to be original, you must record the piece yourself. Applicants for this position must submit two music samples.
Prayer Group Leaders
Starting Spring Semester: Praying together is an incredible privilege, and as a prayer group leader, you’ll get to lead a 30-45 minute prayer group with 3-4 students that meet weekly or every other week to pray for the global Church and each other’s personal requests. Each week, we’ll provide a prayer guide with scriptures and prayer requests to guide you through your time together. This role is for ages 14 and up. Younger students can still participate in the prayer groups, just not lead.
